Enjoy a delightful afternoon of restorative yoga using blankets and bolsters , pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, relaxation, essential oils, and hands on adjustments that will assist the body and mind to release stress and obtain Balance & Bliss. This practice is beneficial for all level of practitioners. No experience in yoga or meditation needed.
Learn and practice restorative yoga by the proper use & placement of props. Restorative Yoga benefits include: improves digestion; decreases stress & anxiety; improves flexibility; increases respiratory capacity; promotes pain relief; assists in physical & emotional healing. Students will learn to use one or a sequence of these restorative postures, which will provide desired effect depending on specific intention. Approved for 5 CEU credits by Yoga Alliance for Registered Yoga Instructors.
Interactive workshop to improve overall health and well-being. Learn how stress affects the body and effective strategies to decrease and manage stress. Participants will learn: – Eating strategies to obtain and maintain optimal weight and increase nutrition. – Pranayama (breathing techniques)to help lower heart rate and stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system. – Meditations to watch the mind, calm the mind and bring mindfulness into the everyday.
